Upcycling Club Update

Years 1 & 2 have been sewing, cutting, sticking, painting and generally letting their creative imaginations run riot in Upcycling Club on Wednesdays.

The club made some super teacup pincushions before half term and this half term, have been practising the French interior design technique of découpage. Each of the children chose a tray which they painted and they then chose from some beautiful wallpapers and wrapping papers and cut out pictures such as flowers, birds, feathers, animals and cars. It was time to get messy with the glue next!

Their designs look amazing and we are sure the mums and dads would love to have tea served to them on one of these trays!

Our next project is bird feeders made of old juice cartons. Watch this space!
